Firefox-private-browsing

Firefox is well known for its robust security and the team’s emphasis on privacy. Users also admire the browser for its extreme customization. The development team actively wants users to configure and customize the experience to how they like it.  Just recently they announced another cool feature to add to Firefox’s impressive resume. The new feature is called Tracking Protection, which gives the user “more choice and control over the web experience,.”

Firefox is giving the user control of their data by letting them control which websites (if any) receive and keep data from visits. The new Tracking Protection feature is embedded within private browsing which actively blocks ads, analytic trackers, and social share buttons that may record metadata.

Alongside their new Tracking Protection, Firefox is giving users even more control in the new Control Center, which contains site security and privacy controls in a single place in the address bar. This makes it easy for a user to reconfigure the Tracking Protection in case website glitches or cannot be supported with the feature.

When the Tracking Protection feature is turned on, there is a shield icon next to address bar. Users can also look in the web console to see which messages are blocked under the Security tab.

While Firefox is an excellent browser to use for its stance on security and customization (and it’s a non-profit), there are still ways for you to enhance integral parts of your connection through TorGuard VPN. TorGuard VPN is the total solution for encrypting traffic and makes a great addition to Private Browsing mode on Firefox.

Internet service providers cannot see your traffic, downloads, or even target you with ads when you are using a VPN. TorGuard VPN works by assigning you a remote IP address that is connected via an encrypted tunnel to your own masked IP address.

A VPN is also great for securing other computer applications like Skype, or if you need to hide your IP while gaming. For users in censored countries, TorGuard VPN lets you access content outside of geo-restrictions. TorGuard even offers a Firefox SSL proxy app which can be used from any Firefox browser!
