The new TorGuard Tomato VPN setup tool makes managing VPN services on your router, easy. Use the tool to setup OpenVPN settings, switch VPN server locations, and reboot the router. No need to waste time copy/pasting certificate files or startup scripts, the software loads all the values needed automatically. Here is a quick tutorial on how to setup TorGuard’s Easy Tomato VPN Manager:
Before running the software, make sure that you are running it from the computer that is directly connected to Tomato VPN router. Also, verify that you have internet access.
Step 1.) First download the TorGuard Easy Tomato software from the link below

Step 2.) Locate the “TorGuard-Tomato ” icon on your desktop and double click to launch the app:
Step 3.) Enter the required info below into the settings and click run:
TorGuard VPN Username – enter the VPN username you setup with service.
TorGuard VPN Password – enter the VPN password you setup with service.
Select VPN Server – choose the VPN server you wish to connect to from the drop down menu.
Setup DNS – Select yes (only once) if you have not yet configured your Tomato router’s DNS settings.
Setup VPN – Select yes (only once) if you have not yet configured your Tomato router’s VPN settings.
Router IP – Enter you Tomato VPN Router’s current IP address. (The default IP is 192.168.1.1)
Router Username/Password: Enter the Tomato Router’s current username and password. (The default is admin:admin)
Click run!
This will add the requested VPN location to your startup and reboot the router, automatically connecting to the new VPN server location.
(Pro-Tip: It can take up to five minutes to fully process the settings)
Once all settings are complete, the router will reboot and load the OpenVPN status screen. You should see a connected status as seen below:
