What VPN service can you trust for a premium Torrent VPN experience? Many of today’s most popular VPN providers have a disclaimer or clause in their Terms of service which specifically excludes the use of their vpn services for torrents. At TorGuard, we allow torrents on all of our VPN service packages for no extra charge. Our Netherlands, Canada, Romania, Swiss, and Russia VPN endpoints are optimized for the best torrent experience possible – with full support for ports and udp traffic.

The traditional measures taken to torrent anonymously aren’t quite enough to keep you safe anymore.. The programs of yesterday, like PeerBlock, don’t do a thing for keeping your personal IP private. It is becoming increasingly easier for prying eyes to view your private torrent download traffic. You don’t even need to be doing anything illegal, either. Maybe you just want to keep “big brother” out of your personal business or simply prevent bandwidth throttling. Either way, if you’re really serious about keeping your download activity private, your best bet involves routing your BitTorrent connection through an encrypted external Torrent VPN service. TorGuard is a BT-focused proxy server and Torrent VPN service provider.

All TorGuard VPN service plans include:

  • Unlimited Torrent VPN Services $9 / month

  • Unlimited Bandwidth – Gigabit connections

  • Full UDP support on all socks5 proxies

  • Works with Windows, Mac, Linux, Android

  • Instant Account Activation – 24/7 Support

  • Hide behind 40+ Anonymous IP’s in 6 countries

How do you ensure your personal torrent downloads are protected and kept private when running your Torrent VPN service? TorGuard’s Torrent IP Checker Tool is a torrent tracker that lets you download a legal torrent file to your client. Because no one other than you has this torrent and since there are no seeders, the torrent will not download or complete – it will remain active in your queue as long as you wish. Only you will see your torrent IP within your torrent client and will now be able to constantly monitor your setup.

“Monitoring your own torrent IP address will help you patch holes in your security practices in order to better safe guard your privacy.

How TorGuard Torrent VPN Service Works
When you download or seed a torrent, you’re connecting to a bunch of other people, called a swarm, all of whom—in order to share files—can see your computer’s IP address. That’s all very handy when you’re sharing files with other users, but file sharers such as yourself aren’t necessarily the only people paying attention. Independent monitoring groups also join BitTorrent swarms, but instead of sharing files, they’re logging the IP addresses of other people in the swarm—including you—so that they can notify your ISP of your doings. ATorrent VPN service (like TorGuard) funnels your internet traffic—in this case, just your BitTorrent traffic—through another server, so that the BitTorrent swarm will show an IP address from a server that can’t be traced back to you instead of the address that points to your house. That way, these “prying eyes” can’t contact your ISP, and your ISP has no cause to send you a harrowing letter.
