
Even though it was only released a month ago, KitKat is already growing on a number of new android devices. KitKat was released alongside the Nexus 5 on October 31st and features a new UI, enhanced optimization, better notifications , standard screen recording, improved full screen mode and much more. Jelly Bean is still the most widely used android platform however after just a month KitKat adoption is already at a surprising 1.1%:

Android VPN Beta-Testing Group
TorGuard has released a new app update for the recent KitKat release and urges those running the new OS to go ahead and upgrade. Thanks to our resident Android developer this new app works very well on Nexus devices running the new android version.
As KitKat inevitably becomes adopted by more hardware manufacturers our team is looking for android savvy users who are willing to help beta test this new version. We have recently created a new Google Community which aims to bring TorGuard Android VPN users and the TG development team together to effectively iron out any bugs. We want to hear directly from the users what type of new features, additions, or changes to the app YOU would like. Members who wish to participate are encouraged to join this group and download our latest BetaApp for KitKat here. (One must first be a member of the Google community in order to download this beta app.)
The development team plans on giving out various prizes to the most active testers and a monthly “Bitcoin bounty” prize for the largest bug report contribution. These prizes and other opportunities will be announced shortly in the TorGuard Android member’s forum. Let’s review:
